    Yesterday at the Open Day the Supporters Trust were selling a new set of Barnsley FC Legends Top Trumps which were very well received. These were designed by Paul Waddington.

    We sold plenty of packs so our stock are now fairly dwindled.

    If anyone missed out or couldn't attend the open day, please contact myself or any other Trust Board Member (Gally, Owen etc) and we'd be happy to send you some out via post (or you can pick up from the club if you can wait till a matchday).

    The packs are £7 and provide hours of fun on coach/rail journeys to away games. Lets just hope you don't end up with Willie Ferry!

    You can email or PM me in the first instance if you would like a pack. We accept PayPal and cash on delivery.

    Please note if you pay via PayPal and require postage the price will rise, we'll work out the cost so we get it right and add to the paypal invoice. Thanks.

    I was expecting a Phil Gridlett card but oh no he wasn't deemed legendary enough to be included. I feel cheated.

    Hignett. 35 goals in 77 games. What an amazing player.

    Now we have sunk so low we are trying to case for Dawkins* being part of a quality midfield.

    *Portmanteau of Dawson and Perkins, like Brangelina but less effective in the middle of the park.

    Hignett was a superb player, absolute top quality but we had a very different budget back then. Its a bit unfair to compare the likes of Dawson to Hignett.

    Only 36 cards but expect long games if you want to win when using Willie Ferry on your turn. Only question worth asking is how many goals and hope they have David Watson or Clive Baker!
