Which rule did you employ there? It was only 1-0 at HT!

I usually like to sit there and take it. But I'm up for trying out your option. Let me know whereabouts you are in whichever stadium it is we're at, and I'll get mi coit and join you in the local alehouse.

We did a quick committee vote and the outcome was that the red card counted as a goal, so we went ratting round Newcastle at 4pm instead.

This rituals been going on since the Prem season, we first did it away against West Ham, we choose their boozer on the corner outside the ground, the landlady looked gobsmacked when all of a sudden her pub was full of 60 lads while the match was still on. By full time it was surrounded by cop dogs and we were shut in, locals weren't happy not being able to get a post match pint.

Most home games as I've got my season ticket.

    Away games:

Bolton, Burnley, Blackpool, Huddersfield, Charlton are all on the list. Proboably go to about 12/13 away games like most seasons.

Well I'll be missing the boro game at home as I'll be on my way back from North Devon, and will miss the reading home game as it will be my nieces wedding.
I'll probably only go to Wednesday and Huddersfield away games, and maybe Blackpool.
To be honest, I really can't be arsed spending stupid amounts of money on a game of football any more. Rather use that for to spend on my family which is come first

Not got a season ticket for the first time in 26 years - since I was 6 years old. At the moment I have to say that I'm likely to attend about 10 or 12 games, a mix of home and away as I live about 40 miles or so away from Oakwell.

Been gradually alienated by the manner of administration of the club over the last 5 or 6 years (and some of the old guard from this board will know what started things off) and Keith Hill's attitude to the Barnsley fans just put the tin hat on it for me. Petty personal dislike I admit, no doubt I am cutting my nose off to spite my face, but I just can't stand the guy so there you go. Perhaps I'll pick up a bit when he inevitably leaves within the year.

Depends how well we are doing away games wise. Got a season ticket so obviously looking to attend every home game.

I've also not got a season ticket. This is my second season without one. Last year I did what you did, looked through the fixture list and marked out what I would and wouldn't attend. I went to a couple that I didn't expect to attend but only went to about two-thirds of those I did originally want to. I'm not going to bother looking this year and just go when I feel like it, because worryingly (after 20+ years of barely missing a match at home) I didn't miss it last season when I didn't go . . .

i couldn't not go if i lived in Barnsley, was going to give Saturdays friendly a miss but as i was in town i had to go! living 250 miles away takes away the choice thank god, il go to away games that are local and the odd big match at home, its expensive and sometimes i cant be arsed, but always wish i was there come 3pm

train leaving at 7 am, pissed up and a great day out , save the 2 hours im actually at oakwell, dont know why we don't just get a random train journey to somewhere instead!

remember its all about the journey,
