Following on from some of the comments, concerns, criticisms about the club and its management recently I thought it might be worth getting together with Don Rowing anyone who would like to raise genuine concerns or issues and to to have a sensible chat and better understand the clubs current direction and strategy.

Chef Tyke and Merlin have already expressed an interest in this.

Please reply below if you would like to take part - I'd like to think some of the clubs more vociferous critics will take part. You know who you are :)

Moaning about your fellow fans is your speciality.

You could ask him for a seat with a fan free 5 seat radius.

Those that go along with the status quo never change anything.

I'm only going if you are. Don could be like Blofeld and you could be his cat and sit on his lap throughout the meeting.

for once hemsworth is right, 'they' will hide behind their gobshite usernames. I often think it should be 'them' who should justify their policies - not Don Rowing or BFC.

I won't be able to make it but can you pitch my ideas about the go-karts and the world's biggest scalextric circuit? It's a winner, folk will soon forget there ever was a football club in Barnsley!

I agree Phil, I think Don is doing a pretty good job but it may well be a good idea to have some positive fans there to add a bit of balance if nothing else. I'd like to go Paul, can you get a date so I know if I can come along.

Some of 'they' are actually speaking from first hand experience as a customer and business partner of BFC. Some have actually ahd up front and personal meetings/exchanges with the representatives of the club and have seen what goes on.

Some are thus waiting for a change of personnel.

undermining the club, whether it be the bloke who saved it from extinction or the fella he employs to run it. What's the motivation for that? They are more than aware of mistakes and difficulties involved, why not support them instead of tearing them down? Them policies.

What's the motivation? Probably dismay at the way it is being "run". If they are aware of the mistakes then they are very slow to take any action. I've given my support as that little plastic book thing in my kitchen drawer will confirm.

Can you imagine what would happen if they had a gokart track on the carpark, the council would be overwhelmed with complaints about the noise, also I think there are plans to build a track somewhere else.
