Any news on this Development ( U21) league?

Any idea of which clubs are involved, when matches will be played.....

think its been talked about since that time Kev.
Its linked to EPPP and all that which gets sorted at end of season. Think Barnsley have gone for Seed 2 in that.

Being in your position it does not really matter what day or time they play does it.

It will set them up for real football then. Because the game is about winning by scoring more goals not having the best Prozone stats.

I think you will find that they cant always play against other kids! They have to play against the big misters eventually, thats when you find out if they are good enough.
You did not like the reserves because there was older players in there against our kids, now you dont like the new set up because our kids might lose a lot!
Go on YOU devise a way for our kids to play COMPETETIVE football and win every match! Then convince the FL to accept it. Simples!!!

NO I didnt like the reserves becuase it was just u18 players.

I think that they should step it up but against premier league u21's. That would be a massive test and step up.

In many countries, the U21s play before the main game - I presume on the same pitch - finishing about 30 mins before the main match. This cuts down on travel costs (1 coach can take both teams) and gives the crowd an excuse to get to the ground earlier. The younger players also get to experience playing in front of crowds. It might work here if enough teams were interested...
