    Decent game apart from one tedious aspect that completely spoils it. The video refereeing. Thank god we haven't got that in football.

    My friend is one of the women's referees (umpire actually) - her name is Wendy Stewart - and the umpires don't like it either, particularly when decisions are reversed as it undermines their authority / credibility. The feeling is they would rather go with the old adage "you win some, you lose some".

    He he,did you see the young kiwi lass nearly have her napper taken off by the dutch girl,very nasty,claret everywhere,put me off mi snap.

    I didn't see the incident but I'm guessing she was the one who looked to be wearing a swimming hat.

    Re: Never seen this before

    I've been playing hockey for 30 years and never seen this way to conclude a tied game before. It always used to be penalty flicks but it looks like they are taking a run from the 23 metre line - a bit like a penalty shot in ice hockey.
