    Look at the difference in the size of the countries! Us getting 3 gold medals in half an hour is pretty ridiculous considering the size of the country!

    The BBC reaction to the USA tonight, as took a bit of the gloss of the GB 3 on Saturday for me, don't seem such a big deal to now.

    The way the BBC we're carrying on the GB 3 sent shock waves around the world, now seeing there reaction to the yanks doing the self same thing, its made me wake up and realise that the rest of the world would have just reacted the same as us to the yanks and its took the gloss off it a bit,

    What does it matter what the world thinks? It is our achievement we are celebrating though. For me it isn't such a great thing to get 3 in half hour anyway, the 3 golds are the impressive thing, don't see how the timing of the finals has any bearing on it.

    We're usually sh.it so it's always bound to get a very positive reaction when we do well. Nothing wrong with the BBC getting a little Jingoistic to celebrate these very rare events.

    They did hype it up hugely.

    We've won 3 out of 47 track and field golds, it's not that big a deal.

    Our real success has been at the cycling.
