www.goldencock.co.uk real ales are golden pippin, black sheep, Yorkshire blonde, and.....Barnsley bitter.....whether the locals like it or not! Up the reds
cheers mate, website will be more "all singing & dancing" once we have photos of completed pub. How's my old London Nicholsons pubs doing? Argyll Arms, De Hems, Coal Hole, Doggets all still yours?
More Reds fans the better McDude, outnumbered by HTFC up there! We have made some big improvements, about £400ksworth so I hope you like what we've done.
Looking good, but can't find where you are or any contact number etc. That burger pics just made me hungry.
hi wizzio, you might be looking at the website on a iphone/ipad ... we need to tweak it so you can scroll the navigation menu down to Contact...will be done Monday, but you can access the contact/location info here http://www.goldencock.co.uk/page4.html
mmmmm Golden Pippin! Is that Ossett Yorkshire Blonde? Try Ossett Big Red. Go into many pubs and it's either blonde/pale ales or porters and dark beers.....really like a good ruby ale. Might have to call in one Friday on way home from work.
I'm on PC and the contact part is masked by a "look out for new background gallery" pop up. Don't know if thats your site or my pc. Just lettng you know....otherwise looks good.
Yeh ES correct Yorkshire Blonde is from Ossett, we will be rotating 2 with Pippin & Sheep on all the time. We are planning brews from Summer Wine Brewery, Mallinsons, Elland, Kelham Island etc
cheers for that, I remember when you sold a few pints of ale, a couple of bags of crisps and banged heads together when neccessary. All this technology eh? It will be sorted in time for the re-launch.
Congratulations, looks grand! Why not celebrate this happy occasion with an original artwork by Mr C? Who likes to immortalise lovely pubs - get mortalled in lovely pubs - or summat.... Here's a couple of my favourite local hostelries I was moved to capture.
I've yet to see Any of your work which could be classed as 'sinister'. Does this mean I know bugger all about art? If so, I'll just add it to an ever increasing list of subjects!
Hey Mr.C, they look good. I would like to talk to you about doing one for us, limited edition of 2, one for me, one for the pub. PM me mate if you are interested.
Re: I've yet to see I was only called sinister once, it stuck! Kids playing on railway lines and graveyards, I want lynching! Well mate, it was your Laura who had the most understanding and foresight on that little episode. Of course, she's done a grand job raising you Crystal n'all! Lotsa love old pal.
I'm always open for business! Will pm tomorrow mate. The Wrestlers was the pub in the euro 2012 ITV/carling TV ad!
Looks a really nice place and menu. Might see about coming there for walk somewhere and have a meal. Any decent walks nearby?
