WTF was Alnwick thinking the silly get, no wonder he's never done anything in his career - whatever the player did or said to him he should have just laughed in his face and reminded the player the score and got on with it.

Im going to imagine he's not going to be in Keith Hills or the fans good books for a while.

I've still to see an explanation why it was not a direct free kick rather than a penalty for the headbutt??

Yeah, the ball wasn't live as it was in the keeper's hands, surely that can't be a penalty?

A direct free kick in the box? No such thing is there? It was a foul in the box so a pen. The ball is 'in play' if it is in the keepers hands.

We got one similar to that against Hudders a few years ago, their keeper had the ball in his hands and shoulder barged one of our players whilst they were running back out of the box, ref awarded a penalty.

Did Wiseman really make that mistake for their first goal? Even 6 year old kids don't misjudge the bounce of a ball that badly

The linesman clearly has his flag up for an offside which the ref had apparently blown for so at the point the keeper gathered the ball, the ball should have not been in play.

It was top defending wasn't it. Having said that the defending for their sitter a few minutes after the goal was even better - it should have been 2 - 0 but luckily for us their lads heading was as good as our defending. I will take comfort from the fact that Keef watched the same game and knows we have to strengthen in defence.

The highlights don't do Sir Bobby justice - he made a couple of good saves that aren't in them.

I assume looking at it that the flag went up but the referee waved play on?
