Fair play to the lad, his work rate cant be questioned and I'm hoping that he can prove the majority of Barnsley fans (including myself) that he can cut it. If he starts against the smoggies Lets try and get behind him, scored two very good goals at the weekend regardless of the opposition.
What is with all the Daggers threads or threads that lead to Dagges conversations?. But i always get behind our players (when there trying) and i hope Daggers has turned a corner and going to smash a few in.
2 goals against Rochdale are the level of Dagnall`s abilities. No amount of getting behind him will improve that, just like it didnt with Oddjob. The first 75 mins he was on he looked poor according to most of the fans I have spoken to since Saturday.
They must play with bigger nets down at Spotland or less players. You make that run in what ever league and get a pass like that you will be one on one. You finish like he did and you will score goals. In the champ the nets are smaller and they don't play with two goalkeepers.

Lets put it this way, werent Davies signed from a side now back in L2? even Davies made up the step straight up from L2.Why cant Dagnell?
Credit to him. He did well on Saturday. But he isn't Championship quality. In the same way that our back 4 isn't, and if Keith doesn't sort that out then it's going to cost him and us.
But in the Championship the defenders are better. You get less room and less time on the ball as you're marked better. The majority of lower league forwards cannot make the step up to championship football and have the same impact. You're not claiming they can surely?
Davies has not made the step up though, he didnt score that many did he? He scored more than the rest, but that only makes him the best out of the crap we had up front! Davies looked OK at times but he aint a world beater and neither will Dagnall be. Davies will not play well up top on his own, he has not got the ball control for that, he will mscore goals if we give him the ball in the box, ala Saturday, Dagnall is not up to Championship standard at all. In my opinion that is.
