    Barnsley teenager John Stones will be one to watch in his first full season, according to team-mate David Perkins.

    Stones, one of seven academy products recently handed their first professional contracts at Oakwell, is hoping to force his way into manager Keith Hill's npower Championship side on a regular basis this time round following two appearances at the end of last season.
    The central defender, 18, headed home Jacob Mellis's free-kick for his side's first goal in Saturday's 4-3 Capital One Cup win at Rochdale.
    And Perkins said: "Stonesy's been absolutely magnificent.
    "He's really quality and it shows. It was good to see him get on the end of a good cross."

    Have you ever heard him on a football pitch.

    The stuff that comes out of his mouths horrid.

    Once heard him in 2007/8 and he set off at this player and it made me cringe.

    There where little kids there and i bet the parents weren't happy either.

    Every other player is all 'please' and 'thank you'

    It's quite possible to be excited about Stonesy and the others as prospects without setting off on some bizarre quest to discredit and rewrite history to run down the older professionals at the club.

    There isn't any need in it Mapplewell no, odd word maybe but not full blown verbal attacks on a pitch no.

    As I've just explained in your 'Cranie' thread, I was merely having a bit of fun at the expense of my darling David Perkins, who calls him 'Stonesy', hence I then listed our players in nickname fashion.

    It wasn't a dig at you. But for once (again), it went right over your head.

    As for your 'latest' attack on CLUB LEGEND Sir Bobby of Hassellhoff, with regards to his 'choice language' shall we say, may I refer you to your post I've just quoted - the first sentence, you use a word for fornication.
    And, in the 'Cranie' thread, you tell my good self, and my friend Paul, to '**** off'....

    You see Hemsio, the reason Bobby Hassell is such a potty mouth on the pitch, is that he has to practice swearing so he can communicate effectively with kids in the community on their level. It's like my job, I have to use tossy lingo like 'provenance' and 'natural patina' and 'historical significance'.... Know warrafookingmeanlike?

    You don't hear any bad language on the Olympics Hemsio, but oh no, not watching that it's boring rubbish - football's best! I only watch football and when I'm not watching football, I watch women's football and football related pornography.
