    Anyway, away from all that

What's it like being a Brit abroad when Bradley Wiggins wins the Tour De France and Team GB stuff the rest of Europe in the Olympics? You must feel like King of the world.

You and Conan are like a married couple. You're almost inseparable.

I heard he got a bit emotional last night when I missed the meeting.

Dyson's too cool to show his emotions in public.

But Jay, a significant number of his posts are incomprehensible. If he does have something of interest to post then it has a habit of getting lost in translation.

It's lovely. You don't even have to say anything, it's just enough to know that everyone knows. The Olympic thing is of course big but for me personally the tour is massive. I've really got into it in the last few years and make an effort (not that it's a hardship) to go and see it when I can so to have the first British winner and to totally dominate it as we did was, to quote every olympic winner, unbelievable. As you're probably aware the Vuelta starts on Saturday and if Froome could win that then I'd need some kind of injection to stop me grinning.

Apparently he ran out of the room holding his hand over his face muttering "sorry, I'm really sorry".

I'm not one to make assumptions but his eyes were red when he came back in.

I agree mate. Does that mean he should be abused on a daily basis? Is that what we do with people who struggle with literacy, shout and swear at them and take the piss?

Re: But he gets it every day

The problem with him is that a lot of what he posts is incomrehensible, with the odd spelling mistake 99% of the time you can work out what is meant but with Hemsy its more than that, I have cricised him in the past about it, I said if you have something to say it helps if the people reading it can understand it, otherwise it's just a frustrating and pointless exercise. I have actually read a couple of his posts that have been well written and understandable so he can do it, there is no doubting his interest in sport in general and in BFC in paticular and his knowledge of the youngsters is at times insightfull and interesting, I just wished it wasn't so bl00dy hard to read. Come on Hemsy, ignore the abuse but listen to and act on some of the constructive advise given to you. I have got to say though the, '' I'm on my phone and emmerdales on'' line had me in stiches so it's not all bad.

    ''ignore the abuse''

    Abuse makes me laugh.
Nobody ever makes negative comments about someone bad.

by the way, the queen doesn't read this so it doesn't matter if spellings .... not perfect.

    You're right.

I've got nothing but positive things to say about Adolf Hitler, the KKK, and Simon Davey....

And that hemsy sums it up in one. You just carry on ignoring the well intentioned advice that is posted to you. you picked one thing out of my post ie. spelling, to come back at me. Read my post again, I did say that that 99% of spelling mistakes can be understood so in the main, no they do not matter but when a post cannot be understood for reasons other than spelling it is a frustrating and pointless exercise, I am not the only one who cannot understand most of your posts, others complain also. Generally I have no problems with the content, just the fact that I find it hard to decipher, which, in the posts about the youngsters that I am generally interested in I find it frustrating.

    I don't care what he's written.

A while ago, he used to bother me with what he said, I couldn't understand how someone could have a completely different opinion than myself on certain subjects. I got over it, realised it wasn't the end of the world. If there's something now that he says which I don't agree with, I ignore him, I don't see the point in arguing.

It's not just the last few days thats 'bothered' me as such, it's the fact that he pops up, and might be asking a genuine question, yet he gets ridiculed, for no apparent reason. It's easy for people to do this from behind a keyboard because they know they'll probably never meet people off of here.

It might be a laugh for some, but why does a laugh have to be at someone elses expense.

    My opinion like

I'm totally with you on that. It's quite cringeworthy seeing the same folk jump on him for a spelling mistake etc.

Nothing he posts bothers me, in the slightest. In fact, nothing anybody on here posts bothers me.

I'm often moaning, sometimes I give credit where it's due, sometimes I'm quite serious, and quite occasionally I'm a bit daft/sarcy etc. It's only a forum, but yes, I wouldn't say owt that I wouldn't say to someone face to face. And there are folk on here who can testify to that.

But all in all, I think I'm always pleasant to people on here, in all seriousness.

And, I happen to enjoy HT's postings. Nowt against the lad.
