Just seen BFC stun Boro to victory, shame the scoreboard isn't working. Had a look at notes from meeting with 'Don'. Is the price quoted accurate? It seems alot forwhat we have had.

All for contributing, but is £120,000 a quote from a company or just a made up figure?

Missed the scoreboard today with it not working and getting no latest scores. Would have been nice to see the scoreline on there at full time.

It is quite a lot of money just to be reminded how many we're losing by.

Been to the game today and the scoreboard not working instantly stood out, not having it really does make us look like the poor relations of the league, I know the club may argue that we can't afford that kind of expense and the money is being used for players, but if managed correctly a new big proper scoreboard like the one at the KC for example would surley be a sensible investment for the club as it is a great way to generate revenue though advertising, surley company's would love to get there names up on there during games, and be more likely to sponsor players if they knew there sponsorship would be mentioned and go up on the screen every time there chosen player was mentioned

£120,000 for scoreboard. Is there a price club will pay and is there a commission for if I can get it for less? I can't believe supporters if they believe 'Don' about that quote! Absolute rubbish! If he says that about scoreboard, what else is he saying? Its a shame he does't fancy politics.....next PM. get some independant business people involved......save thousands!!!!!!!!!

You've really got a bee in your bonnet about this haven't you? Why on earth would Don lie about it? Of course there are cheaper ones but they want a particularly good one.

Which one does he want? He doesn't say, he just states some figures. £120,000 will get you the best scoreboard in the world. Real Madrid did'nt pay that much for their board. It's not a Bee in a bonnet its a realisation that sometimes the club talk *****! Its just a figure that someone has pulled out of the air to passify a question. Honestly BFC should involve independant supporting Business People, no fees, to advise. They won't though because they want to tell supporters, of which I am one, what they want! As per usual, because I am questioning ' the Club' I must be Outlawed! The Club have asked for any ideas(reading the meeting with Mr Rowing), do they want ideas or are they just passifying the majority with words?. Sorry for speaking out of turn.

Put your handbag away and stop being so daft. Who said you must be 'outlawed'? How do you know how much Real Madrid paid for their scoreboard?! You're just moaning because of the under 5's issue and the club's stance on that. I happened to agree with you on that whilst many didn't, but some of your comments on this thread are daft.

Its not about under 5's! Its about the club stating stuff thats not true. £120,000 is overkill. Why dont you search footballl scoreboard in google, its easy. I've asked a company to quote, and as an independant company I may put towards the scoreboard..... Thing is, what happens if i get it for £10,000. Does that make me bitter or the club talking crap. I will contribute to the club wherever i can, but not if the club are decieving fans. Don't be one of the followers, search scoreboard like i did, easy. Alternatively, ignore the facts and figures and blame me for the shortcomings of the clubs statements. At least Don gave everyone some beer before the meeting.

As a former Holgate pupil I remember on Rememberance Day having the names of the 1st and 2nd WW ex pupils being read out with Senior pupils standing in all corners of the school so the names echoed round the school. Maybe they could do a similar thing with the latest scores at Oakwell, give each steward a mega phone and they could shout the scores out round the ground

I can't fathom why people care about a score board, unless it generates income stream at a decent return.

I would rather have a new centre back.
