    That's how I feel. We've already supposed to have turned down 500k so dunno how much higher the new bid will be. I thought he did OK last season and expect him to become better this season if he stays fit for longer than last season. But if we ask for a million and get even close to that like 800-900k i'd take it.

    I agree. Bit risky to be turning down decent money for him, when he's out of contract next summer.

    I didn't think 500k was enough, but if they've upped their bid, then as I say in the other thread, I'd be seriously tempted.
