For goals/action, mine would have to be this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1r-n8lFwPto&feature=related As for a BFC game, I think Peterborough last season is up there!
Anyone remember a league cup game against Huddersfield in the 90s? Think we were 3-0 down from the first leg but won 4-0. However, if we'd let one in we'd have needed 5 due to the away goals. Proper end to end. Or am I imagining it?
From the last 10 years or so - Posh last season, Southend in our 1st or 2nd season back when we secured our status at Roots Hall, play off semi at Udders, any game against Leeds.
Is that the game when the ref did everything in his power t keep Stoke in he game. Wasnt it a Lawrence hat trick with at least 1 pen
I remember that didn't Payton get 3? I think we played Huddersfield in the league that season too, they hammered us away and we returned the favour at Oakwell
A certain Jim O'Brien played in that 6-6 game too, came away with 3 assists(one corner, one cross, one shot which hit post before rebound was put in).
That's the one I'd put it down as the most infuriating game I've ever been to. The poor lad sat in front of me got both barrels when he started standing. Not normally a bully but I was that fired up after all that on pitch nonsense. So apologies if that was you.
Re: That's the one I remember a fantastic 3-3 draw at home to Gillingham when I was a lad. Steve Bruce was in the Gills defence. I think we came from behind twice and the second half attacked the Kop, raining shots in from silly distances trying to nick the win. It was during Norman's tenure. We were the urchins who would sit on the the old concrete dugouts and grownups would tell us to geddaaarrrn once match kicked off! Norman would throw boiled sweets to us. Very happy days them.
I enjoyed the 2-2 draw with Newcastle a couple of seasons back. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_1/8402548.stm
