What needs questioning about pre-season? I might have missed something but can't pinpoint anything.

All the players that spoke about it said it was good. Other squad members who have been at the club for a while stated fittest they had seen the team.

 

if the team were the fittest they had been for ages there wouldnt be all out injured...theres something seriously wrong at the club for me,,,has anyone got an actual list of the injuries?

 

i,ve thought long and hard about this and being an ex union man i would never wish to deprive anyone of their living , however my patience with this man is wearing paper thin. I am tired of hearing work in progress, dna , working with players over the summer to improve them, nasty comments to or about fans,baffling team selections cold blooded heartlessness to some players and the ethics of how some players playing in my teams shirt seem to be picked irregardless of thir performance and or ability
So the conclusion i have drawn is this man is arrogant way above his station and his pig headedness is leading the club i love to relegation and ruin so i therfore formally seconed the motion of brother DEETEE

 

You asked what else could he do, and I responded - coach them, train them, set them up, motivate them etc etc.

I've never known a manager get excused so fcukin much, for his own obvious shortcomings. And as folk on here know, I wanted him appointed last summer, and I've always backed him.

I still wouldn't get shut, either. No point.

But some of these excuses are papering over the obvious.

Why does he always select Wiseman?

Does he know a good goalkeeper? Because Button, Alnwick and Gonzalez are poor recruits IMO.

Why select a player who on Thursday he ruled out (Stones), instead of a fit Bobby Hassell?

Why is Martin Cranie on the bench? If he's fit enough to come off the bench, he's fit enough to start. If he's no better than Wiseman at centre half, then why recruit him?

Why is a Keith Hill side so soft? As soon as we go behind (often very early in games) it's game over, and the only interest left in the game is wondering just how many goals we'll "give away".

Why are we facing another injury crisis, that even eclipses last years unbelievable crisis? At the same stage of the season too, pretty much. It leaves me thinking that perhaps we're overdoing things in pre-season. Or, we are the unluckiest club in the world.

I can't help but fear for our future, and Keith's. Because by the time we get some players back from injury, the defeats will have probably stacked up, and morale in the squad, and the stands, will be as low as a Sheff Utd fans morals.

Done - Knee
O'Brien - Shoulder
Mido - Hamstring

Not sure on the others

 

He signed the players. He picks the team. He does the talking before they go out to play. It has been obvious since he arrived at the club that he's not up to the task.

 

My feelings too redinburgh,i just dont think he's up to it,i honestly dont think he can motivate the players,you only have to look at what happens when we go behind,and it was the same when butterfield and co were here,nothing seems to have changed....
as bloke i like keith hill,but theres got to be some changes before i like him as a manager..

 

But if anyone dares to question ANYTHING that Hill does, they get abused by the idiots on this board!!! FACT!!!!!!

People disagree but i haven't seen someone be abused.

 

Why the teams picked up so many injuries so early on, hamstrings other strains etc, Maybe the preseason was too intense, you can border or over doing it and putting the players at an injury risk, it's a fine line.

 

If you advertised you may be suprised and how can you tell Gord. Hills done a year so then its possible for others to do the same.

Nobody apparently , I must have made up all the name calling and spite filled posts aimed at anyone that dares to say anything "bad " against Hill.

 

I think he protesteth too much. Sign of guilt?

 

In all my time watching the reds I can't remember a manager who has not delivered results and yet seems to have the majority of fans behind him.
