What's your username on BlueMoon.Org? I just want to see if you're a dopey coont on there too. I reckon it's ArmChair Citizen.
I only post on here, but i cant see what the fu.ck thats got to do with you, just carry on slagging off the team YOUR suppose to support. I bet you'd be gutted if we won on Saturday wouldn't you?
Yes. I also think he's funny and clever. And good looking, with a great dress sense. Top bloke. As for the football, I think we are just 2 good quality loan defenders away from finsihing mid to lower mid table this season. I fear the worst if he doesn't sign some better defensive players though. Saying that, I'd still keep him even if we go down.
Good of you to emphasise your ***** grammar with the use of capitals. Is your username on the Citeh boards privileged information then? I do support the team - that's why I bought a season ticket. I would be over the moon if we win on Saturday.
Yes, Doing a brilliant job, everything they've been ask to do and more, don't think anyone else would do a better job,
Personally I agree with Jay and Eaststander and for the same reasons, not withstanding the fact its way too early for a question like this
I absolutely knew you were going to throw that at me. Do you think everything is down to the PPG? Of course everything else was the same wasn't it? The money available to Parkin compared to Hill, the standard of opposition (Championship is a far higher standard now than then) and we are much more up against it now financially than back then. Did you go any games in the Parkin era? Our away form under Hill is very bad granted, but the overall standard of football under Hill is better in my opinion.
Dances with Wolves Worldwide Total Gross: $424,208,848 shaun of the dead Worldwide Total Gross: $30,039,392 i know which 1 i enjoyed the most
PPG can't be taken as gospel but it has to be a reasonable indicator of performance. Parkin's loss ratio is far lower than Hill's to so maybe he instilled a bit more character into the team (although I would accept that was lacking in the last month). I don't seem to remember Parkin signing many multi-million pound players but I do remember him signing a centre half from the team below us, a left back from a League One side and striker from the reserves of a League Two side. In answer to your last question I barely missed a game that season so that argument won't wash. There were some excellent performances under Parkin and there was absolute ***** too. Just like under Hill.
Why did you have to spoil it with the quote in bold? I hate that statement. Nothing has changed relatively speaking. Yes, the type of football might be a little bit quicker but to think that the standard of this league is any different to what it was then is barmy. We are in the 2nd tier of the english league much the same as before. Teams back then had far more money than us, teams now have far more money and lastly teams in 97 had far more money as well. In this league ever since the inception of the premier league we have been in the bottom 4-5 in terms of budget apart from maybe 2 years after relegation from the Prem. I am getting a little bit bored of this money argument and if its the case that David will never beat Golliath then we might as well all pack in and move to Outer Mongolia. I remember the season we got promoted, and after the pre season training we had, my old man came home and told all his mates to lump on BFC to get promoted as he had never been in a changing room with a better bunch of players. He didnt mean the most skillfull he meant the positive attitude and work ethic. He knew that Danny, through luck as much as judgement had gathered a group together that was special. Not because they were paid 10 grand a week like the rest of the division but because they came as a team, worked their nuts off and watched each others back to the bitter end. Nobody from the club went to the press and spoke about punching above our weight or being the victims of the environment we find ourselves in but a quiet confidence of being successful and doing something that no other BFC team had ever done before. Set your sights as high as you can and bust your balls to get there... Aiming for 19th will get you nowhere and moaning about your lot will get you nothing in return. I just hope we and the club could get some positivity out and stop whinging about being skint. We've always been skint.
I didn't type it in bold. Don't know why it's showing in bold on there. I don't even know how to type in bold on here. The ratio of money available to the richest clubs in our league compared to us is far greater now than ever before.
