Be nice if they turned up again, but as proper supporters, rather than fans, I agree. But that's the problem - they aren't Barnsley supporters.

They'll be there in December when we play Wednesday though.

I don't think games are advertised, in general, well enough for those that dont use the internet (much). HOWEVER I believe the Blackpool game is advertised on Dearne FM from today for the next week or so and the club were looking at advertising in the town centre in empty shop windows. Has that happened ? I havent been down to down recently.

The thing is, we ought to be advertising further afield. Wakey for example.

I was in tarn on Tuesday on a rare return visit, and saw no evidence of advertising in the tarn centre.

If we can't afford to 'market' ourselves then we're in a bad spot.

In general terms we must make it easier for (occasional/potential regular) fans to try the games through offers and sensible pricing etc - in the absence of a 10 match winning run.

Was going to put up some Posters up in Featherstone, But it's the Featherstone Gala that Saturday, and all shops etc are advertising that.

I used to know absolute loads of folk here in fev who watched BFC on a weekly basic, theres hardly any now.

One guy who had had a ST for 20 years fell out with the club last season because box office staff told him they were too busy do a season ticket before the first home game. He told them he was too busy to watch BFC then and went home.

I thought one of the rolls of the supporters club would have been to help advertise etc. I could be wrong though.... Isn't the supporters club supposed to be a MUTUALLY BENEFICIAL club. Again I could be wrong as I have no idea what they actually do.

Did he go in for it at five to three on the day of the first match?

The Club gave up a guaranteed income when it did away with the over 60s concession and jack the prices up to £30.
