    Has it reopened yet the Chinese takeaway in Mapplewell?

    Does anyone know why it closed? Heard rumours it got shut darn from reasons of rats to dog pmsl

    Fancy a sweet an sour tonight!

    I've lived all over the country and a local chinese restaurant or takeaway has never closed down without there being a rumour that it was because they were serving dog!

    Yes it is open again, It closed due to family bereavement apparantly......very nice Chinese is Sun Mei although Ruby's kitchen around the corner is awsome!

    Ended up ordering and was lovely, however looked online and in December the takeaway was awarded a 1 rating in the scores thing the council do was it coincidence it closed???

    the guy with the long hair who owned it,his wife passed away thats why it closed, it reopened end of november, they had to cover the old fryers up in the front thats why it got a poor rating

    it was done within a week.

    know this as before i moved here it was my local chinese for 24 years, i knew the guy and his son chris,
