Whatever the outcome I have a feeling they won't be happy.
They're also having another 2 minutes silence in town at 3:06. Already had one this year

I've tried to steer away from all these argument on here and social networks sites. What would happen if the police came out and said "ok, its our fault, compensation packages etc...." Would that be enough for them? l don't think so. Are we having a minutes silence for Heysel and all the people the Liverpool fans killed?

Well I fully support them. And the fact that usually sensible posters will still implicitly and explicitly allude to the complete mustruths created by senior police and possibly others (we may see who today) shows exactly why

I support them looking for answers, definitely. Being proven today that there's been a cover up for 23 years by govt & SYP and the handling was criminal (literally).

But I hope that's the end of it - closure. But I don't think it will be.

I think they definitely need to reopen the inquests. The cut off point of 3.15pm means that the families don't actually know what happened to their loved ones. Having experienced losing a friend in circumstances where we never really found out what happened I can only say that has made closure incredibley difficult. It shouldn't matter, it won't bring him back but somehow it does.

Unfortunately people like Duckenfield will never be held to account. That must be incredibly infuriating

No, it didn't take them 25 years

There is some form of memorial every year.

You can't make people take notice. It's in the national press most years and the local press every year. The town hall rang the bells once for every victim for christ sake, how public do you want them to make it?

If they don't hear what they want to hear they'll claim that there are documents missing.

Once again Rogan Taylor on the radio this morning lumped in Bradford with Heysel and Hillsborough.

If there is a memorial it's passed me by - doesn't get mentioned on local press. Certainly not on the scale if hillsboro when all the shops in the centre take part

And the witness to the lad talking is a special police constable too.

I just can't understand how anyone can't empathise with the victims families search for some accountability, particularly for the cover up

Has anyone said they can't empathise?

Bit I don't get is why there doesn't seem to be the 'fault on both sides' option, everybody points to the things that the police have done wrong, but does anybody think the scousers would be blameless?, because having been to quite a few similar games and having seen the Liverpool fansin particular in action more than a couple of times in the seventies , I don't

I'd like them to go on about it as much as they do with Hillsborough, then make public the number of victims they maimed with their stanleys around Anfield.
