    We've flogged 600 in the last 24 hrs and l'm sure it'll be busier tomorrow and Friday. I would have thought the majority of folk will be paying on the gate. We'll see how the sales go over the next few days. What would you call a success, remembering that we had 8,300 home fans for the Boro game and 7500-7700 home fans for Bristol game?

    3500 (v Blackpool) x average of a tenner = £35k
    1000 (v Bristol City) x average of twenty quid = £20k

    Agreed, barely a thousand fans are paying on the day at £28 (£25 with card) if we get anything more than an extra 2,500 fans on Saturday then its been a success.

    At that price I'd like to see 14,000 in the home ends, so about 7,000 tickets.

    Looking at that eticketing thingy site, it looks like there's about 6,000 spare seats, minus another 3,000 that Blackpool won't sell, so thats about 14,000 sold. But, I could be wrong. I often am.

    I think anything more than £40,000 from paying customers is a success because its overtaken the takings of the other games this season that were priced at £28. We would probably need around 10,000 -10,500 home tickets sold to achieve this, going on the fact we have around 7,000 ST holders.
