I sit in Ponty end, so didn't get a good view at all, but there seemed to be 3 penalty shouts in first half, at least 2 (maybe all 3) at 1-0. Might have been a game changer if one had been given. Holding on Davies when foul given against him. One appeared to be for hands on a cross with arms way above his head. Another blocking goalbound header (though it did seem to be from very close range). Anyone get a better view? Were we hard done by?
I sit on halfway line East Stand Lower the 2nd one with the arm in the air was handball but wouldn't like to swear if it was ours or theirs the 3rd definite handball but as you say it was close range although i have to say it would definitely have been given at the other end.
As the great Harold Hackney said: "Thee look in t'paper tomorrow son - tha'll see whether it were a penalty or not!"
The final one definitely should have been given. Foster's header was powerful and goalbound, their player had his hand above his head. Doesn't matter how close range it was. Awful how neither official gave it.
That's how I saw it too. I thought the Davies incident was a pen too; I couldn't believe it when he gave a foul against him.
