If we could have had as many good strikers as defenders than we would have been in the top flight much more than 1 season.

    I almost agree

However, I would have Bobby Hassell at right back instead of Neil Cooper.

I thought that, however, I don't think Bobby's got the pace for Right Wing Back. Considered him for sweeper but Chris Dagnall just edged him there, too.

Well you've only named 5 subs, so you could name Bobby Hassell for the other 2. He would almost certainly get on as I think Chris would eventually get rather tired with your starting formation.

    Maybe.

However, I think someone like Chris Dagnall also offers more off the bench.

I presume he is also captain and player manager too. Plus he does the commentary and expert summariser on Player from live on the pitch, a first for football world-wide. He also awards the man of the match (to himself) and interviews himself after the match to explain how we won so easily. The only thing he doesn't do is cut the grass because Bobby Hassell nicked the lawnmower keys.

Keith Hill is the manager, obviously.

And Bobby is the Club Chaplain.

Re: Are you a Bobby Hassell fan?

Looking at people's line ups we've had some right players at Barnsley, my old man keeps telling me that all I've seen is the good days of Barnsley fc. He says when he was going in the early 70's when we was bottom of the football league with barely anyone there it was dreadful. In my time I've seen us get 2 promotions, 2 wembley appearances, 1 millennium stadium appearance, premiership, beating man utd, Liverpool (twice) Chelsea. Pretty good years to be honest and all started about 21 years ago watching reds vs Scarborough in milk cup stood in west, my old man says I fell asleep on terrace! So to summarise we've had some real class acts at Barnsley and I hope there's more to come too.
