Think we've played really well at home this year and the football is of a very good standard. Away from home I know for whatever reason we don't play as well. Squad seems a lot stronger and some great young players coming through. Thinks are looking up

I've never thought we should get rid of hill but I've got to be honest I wasn't optimistic about the up coming season.

It'll take one or two loses regardless of opponents, for them to resurface. So I wouldn't get too giddy.

Don't get full of yourself mate, 3 very good home results, 2 very poor away results, if we stop picking points up at home, where's it going to finish up.
Just putting another spin on things.

I can tolerate defeats if we put on a performance and have a go.

I cannot tolerate lying down playing dead like at Brighton.

I don't think theres many that wanted Hill out they just have an opinion that's different.

My opinion is that Hill is the best Manager we have had in a long while but each to their own!

    I think it's a pity

We can't enjoy the home performances and results without point scoring off one another.

    Re: I think it's a pity

I'm not trying to score points just wanted opinions - I think we have a stronger squad than last year , playing decent football at the moment. I know things can change and probably will. I have enjoyed the football in the last few games - I will praise where it's necessary and criticise as well.

    It speaks well of you

If you're prepared to offer up both praise and criticism when warranted. Even I, from behind my rose tinted spectacles, complained about the exceptionally poor performances and attitude so prevalent in the final three months of last season. However, those who choose to avoid praising the manager, team, club and individual players when it's deserved, lose all credibility when they persistently criticise, even if under normal circumstances it'd be justified.
All in my opinion, of course.

I've seen your spectacles and they're not rose-tinted, they're more.... grimey.

    Probably same as ever

    They want him out.

And as much as I back Hillflockcroftdaveleith - until we show the same application and strength of character away from home as we do at home then the doubts will always remain.

That was the point of my thread - some people on here are quick to have a go but are conspicuous by their abscence when we are playing well!

It's interesting, 'cos I read your first post and it did come over as a point scoring post. I'm prepared to take at face value your comments that, that wasn't the purpose. Perhaps 'Is Hill winning you over?' would have been much less provocative.
