    Im bored!!!!

    1. Liverpool 1-2 Barnsley. FA CUP. 16th February 2008

    2. Southend United 1-3 Barnsley. Championship. 14th April 2007

    3. Sheffield United 2-2 Barnsley. Championship. 30th April 2011

    4. Hull City 3-1 Barnsley. Championship. 17th April 2012

    5. Derby 0-0 Barnsley. Championship. 5th March 2011.

You'll see a number of recent games. They coinside me being able to drink because of age and full time work ;)

If it was based purely on games and not pre drinking as well as after the match, Derby and Hull wouldn't be in there!

    Your thoughts?

Oxford away 97 - most enjoyable hammering I will ever witness, very special day.

Liverpool away 98 for obvious reasons

Man U away in the cup in 98 - see above

Sheff U away 2011 - the atmosphere was incredible, when we got that equaliser...wow!

Last one is tough. Watford away in was it 2008? The F.a. Cup semi year. That was a huge win especially after the disappointment the weekend before, Preston the following weekend for the same reason. Sheff U away in December 96, Hendrie gets the winner, we go top for Christmas. Perfect! Posh away last season, what an atmosphere, what a game! I'm sure I could come up with more

There's a much bigger pool of matches to choose from if the question was "bottom five away games of all time". Too many to count!

Liverpool away in League Cup 82 - my first away game ... Amazing to see 16,000 reds fans on three sides of the ground.
Birmingham 0:4 in playoffs ... Totally unexpected thrashing.
Liverpool in Fa Cup .... Brilliant day from start to finish
Sheffield utd away when we won 1:0 the season we went up ... hendrie's goal, and going top of the league.
Huddersfield away in Play offs ..... nardiellooooooooooo !

Agree with you there Korky, except Boro 81 (didn't go). I would add the Man U cup game in 1998 when we should have had a penalty at the end. I would probably replace the Ipswich at Wembley game with Swansea in Cardiff too, for obvious reasons.

    2. Blackpool Bank Holiday 2003. The Gudjon revolution, Lumsdon and Fallon scoring.
    3. Wednesday 2008(?) - JCR screamer.

I'll also choose the Rotherham, Liverpool and Wednesday games and add the 4-0 win at Birmingham and the 2-2 draw at Sheffield United that sent them down.
