I dont have a bad thing to say about him, cant imagine why anyone would. Did a good job at Oakwell, parting of the ways was down to him and the board not us supporters.

I would be slightly concerned that the Beeb referred to them as 'cash strapped'. Not words I would immediately associate, with Mark 'give me more money or i'm leaving' Robins.

    Ok, reworded.

    Bad

thought the football under Robins was boring. Refused to make substitutions until far too late. wasted cash

    Good

Team under Robins could come back from going a goal down

    Wait until SM gets here.

Did the job what was asked of him and no more. Not a guy I would employ to try and get promotion but a good choice if you need "stability". The most disappointing thing was the amount of loan signings - we almost had to build a new team at the start of every season.

Dullest football in 30 years of watching Barnsley

bored me to death, despite breaking records for the number of Premiership loan signings. Whooped for joy when he was sacked.

Most points in a season since being back at this level and 6 away wins in one season and there was a myth about us skinting us.

Genuine question, how many would have him back instead of Hill & Flitcroft?

He deemed the budget presented to him as "uncompetitive" and has spent the last year scratching his arse as Keith Hill showed what could be achieved with that "uncompetitive" budget.

Lovely fella though, and you won't lose every week with him at the helm.

However, if the name 'Arismendi' crops up, be afraid.

I would rather have Hill/Flitcroft but Robins did nothing wrong at Oakwell.

Same answer has Greekman, enjoying the football under Keef and hopefully he can better Robins points total this season.

Never going to play amazing football under Robins but he gets the job done. I thought a lot of the stuff we played under him (barring a few games) was pretty boring on the whole. There is no way I'd have him over Hill and Flicker regardless of our poor away form.

Moaned like **** because he had no money despite spending fortunes and getting us nowhere.

Told that he had to work with a smaller budget, so got proper neb on and was evenually shown the door. New management working within new budget rather well.

Good luck Cov, what with your wage structure of a shilling a day and a horse **** sandwich.
