One off or symbol of progress we're making under Hill ?

Not going to do that every week but that's 2 away games on trot we've footballed recent Premiership opposition to death.

Perhaps it's a long term 'work in progress' after all. Who knows ?

 

Next opponents are **** apparently so history sez back to normal.

 

Performances generally have been good but the last 3 games have been quality. We have got some really good players now. Cranie has been different gravy in the DM role.

 

It wasn't really a fluke was it? As I said elsewhere a lack of goals can sometimes (and rightly) overshadow what is an otherwise excellent performance. Winning and losing are still often small margins, a post here, a good save....sometimes it all goes right and we end up with tonight

 

I'd take 4 points from next two games if offered. That'd be 8 points from last 5 games, long term that's 70 odd points and a very good season ;-)

Hill is probably wanting consistency now. They have set a standard from themselves and proven they are capable of matching some top teams. His job now is to keep getting his tactics right and making sure the players don't let that level drop. Happily we seemingly have some quality in reserve
