    Given the significance of the occasion, wouldn't it have been right if the Man U fans, just for once, had joined in with the Liverpool fans in singing 'You'll never walk alone?' Instead we got occasional strains of the Man U song. A pity that they could not have joined in, because it might have a significant occasion into a great and memorable one.

    Why would they want to join in?

    Would you happily sing "Oh l Oh Sheffield Wednesday" or "You fill up my senses?" Not a prayer.
