    Right

I'm a bit of a thicko and had to look it all up.
Respect, blood. I can't carry that off, can I? In my vernacular, thanks mate.

Opened for them a few times, many, many moons ago. A bar of soap wouldn't have gone a miss, but a smashing set of lads.

    Re: Big headed bleeder

That wasn't investment though. Patrick Cryne didn't buy the club in order to make a profit on it. He didn't sink all that money in to us expecting a big return. The thought wouldn't have crossed his mind. He simply wanted to prevent us going out of business. I'm all for rich local businessmen saving the club when there is an immediate threat of closure. It's people that have no affinity with the club taking over at a time when we're doing OK with the express intent of making a profit that I'm wary about.

There's nothing I can do about it like. I don't think Mr Cryne has ever been comfortable with his role of owner and he has every right to sell to another party. I'm sure he'll do his utmost to find a buyer who he believes will take the club forward. But that doesn't mean I'm happy about it. I believe what we're doing now is the right approach, I think it will lead to success and I think we're a shining example of how to run a football club in an industry that has completely lost its way. It will be a real shame to lose that.

I think he will as well. But the importance of who he sells to may have to be weighed up against how quickly he wants or needs to sell if his state of health has deteriorated as quickly as has been implied in the press in recent months. Obviously nobody outside Patrick's inner circle knows for sure, but the impression I got is that sadly. he is not a well man right now.
