Has it got any better this season? I noticed that Lindey's have branded the food kiosks in the Ponte with Streetdogs, The Pie Factory and Flaming Good Burgers. Has there been any real change of what's on offer?

We've asked to meet with them next week so it would be good to get some feedback.

    Streetdogs?

Not seen many strays on Dodworth Road recently. Thought it was strange.

Can we have the barriers in place as well - had a stand up row with some gobby little sod who barged his way to the front of the queue

A barrier system is a must really (it is most grounds these days) and when beer is on it could get more heated if folk don't wait their turn.

I never buy food from the ground.

One, it costs far too much.

Two, I hear bad reviews about the quality of it.

And three, there's a lovely sandwich shop just down't road, and plenty of Greggs in tarn.

However, I probably would buy a pint of over-priced, weak, warm ale at half time.

Sausage was crunchy, clearly wasn't cooked properly. The bread was stale.
Way too pricy for what you get.

Whats so special about the Ponte End Catering?

Are you not considering speaking about all the stands Gally.

Are we able to purchase black tea or black coffee yet? I don't want to queue up and ask to find out the answer is still no.

Overpriced rubbish I wouldn't give to a tramp.

That should give them a good idea about their "quality"

Our young un's 1st 2 games. Middlesbrough, went to stand (ponty end) at 2.30 for a burger. Wasn't any ready asked to go back in 10 minutes. 2:30 and none ready? Wtf would happen if everyone came in at 2 etc.... 2nd game, half time, asked for a hot dog, none left.... Nice to know they stock plenty. Oh and if they want 3.50 for one burger, think ill be buying of stand at bottom of car park.... I did have a bite and it was the same tasteless thing I've had 6/7 years ago. So a lick of paint and presentation hasn't changed what you get. IMO

    Flaming Good Burger

FGB™ is a new burger concept that delivers high-quality, prime-cut 100% British beef burgers that have been flamed-grilled and are served in a toasted ciabatta bun with fresh salad and relish. The flame grilled taste really stands out against ‘standard’ burgers and the quality of the ciabatta roll really helps to emphasise that this is a premium product.
