I'm in two minds about going, London is always a nightmare for me... £40 return on the bus is the cheapest and easiest way but it's a bloody bus. Saturday may change my mind!

I'd get your tickets as soon as mate.

if we have an extra 6 points on the table this time next week, 1300 will soon go.

Doubt we'll take that many even at a fiver tbh. Hope I'm wrong.

Suspect they'll look at splitting it to get more cockneys in.

Stand split so more Charlton fans can take advantage of the £5 offer. Our total allocation is 1,300.

I suspect it'll be sold out in the home end long before the away end does

Isnt there a minimum allocation of away tickets that must be made availlable -I know for FA cup its 15% but not sure about the league. Charlton holds just over 27000 so if they only give us 1300 thats less than 5%

I cant get a ticket this weekend so I hope it doesnt all sell out in the next few days

Don't think any ruling applies in the league.

We'll not sell 1300 tickets will we? I know the £5 entrance fee will entice a few more, but it's the distance and the travelling costs that keep the away following down rather than ticket prices. We took just 297 to Brighton. Are we going to take an extra thousand to Charlton? I can't see it.

Feel free to bring this back to the top and mock me if we sell out.

I would be surprised if we take more than 1000 to be honest - will definitely get quite a few more due to the £5 entrance fee and we seem to be playing some decent football, but as you say the cost of travel and time are big factors

Not a problem for me though travel cost and time are a lot less than going to a home game...

Can't see us selling out anyway. The match itself may only cost £5 but the day out will still be expensive.

I suspect the choice for the club was take 3,000 at the full price or 1,300 at a fiver. Well done to BFC for doing the latter 'cos 1,300 will be plenty. We would have been lucky to take 250 if we had to pay the full price (£25+?) when their fans were getting in for a fiver

Good business sense by Charlton to split a stand to get more home fans in. Still can't believe we don't do it with the North.

I can't recall last time we even threatened to need to use that stand. If we go up we need to split it OR put away in West Stand North side and give us the 6000. I think they'd just split the North ala 2001 days.

PS - I found out about the 1300 yesterday but thought best not broadcast it as we having to wait until Tuesday to get tickets as we've (I) lost a book. Ah well John ha. Hoping will be some left I'm sure there will be, as we've booked on train.
