    Hill shrugs off job speculation as Oakwell takeover talks continue.

    BARNSLEY boss Keith Hill admits that speculation regarding his own future and that of the club represents a ‘sideshow’ he could have done without this week.

    I just hope this talk of takeover hasn't blunted the positive momentum that was building up at Oakwell, with some great recent performances. It can't have had any benefit for the playing staff morale this week, thinking that their gaffer and his assistant's jobs were in question in any takeover.
    I only hope that in the event of any takeover, Patrick insists that Keith and Flicker's jobs are absolutely assured as part of any deal.
