If a dominant 5-0 win on National TV doesn't bring a few more through the turnstiles then nothing will.

I think the club really need to take a look at pricing now urgently and swallow a bit of pride on the subject. If the brum win doesn't bring people in then I think that they have to accept that £28 is mental barrier that even fantastic performances isn't going to break.

I'd issue a press release saying that all games for the rest of 2012 will be £20 only and see what that brings. What have we got to lose??

I've said it a million times, people have it in their heads it's £28. I have a card so it's £25. One week it's £20 another its £12.50. Clueless from whoever makes the decisions. £22 no fecking about every week.

    Agreed. It's clearly not working.

What beggars belief in my opinion though, is that Don Rowing lacked the vision and acumen to reduce the entry fee today off the back of the win at Brum. He has no idea how to promote the club.

Spot on mate. It's all about what the people of Barnsley are prepared to pay.

The Peterborough match is £20 Adults, £12 Concessions & £5 Juniors - they should make it this price for the rest of the season.

Had to laugh when I saw in the programme today that the Palace home fixture in a couple of weeks is £28 to get in. Palace at home on a cold Tuesday night in October - there are some matches that you can't sell and the ticket price certainly aint helping on that one!

25 or 28 quid against 2nd from bottom i'm surprised we got so many. I was expecting us to struggle to break 8,000.

The people of Barnsley are being priced out of Oakwell. Simple as that.

Talking to 4 lads tonight who would have gone at £20, but not at £28.

Tell them they might get in for 20 at York.

If you want to watch Championship football you pay Championship prices.

Wonder how many people will have a problem with the prices if we draw Man U in the cup.

True to an extent...but half the ones attending would be Man U 'fans'....and besides that Bristol,Ipswich,Millwall etc are not Man U.
