    Cryne and Rowing need to make sure that whoever comes in for the club are not in it for the short term gain. Look whats happened at Watford !! Do we really want to be an Italian B Team for their youngsters coming through or do we want to advance our own talent. Dont think we can afford to dismiss any interest but evrything needs to be considered.

    There's a reason that the ground ownership is in a Trust. It's to stop unscrupulous owners deciding that a prime plot of land close to the centre of Barnsley is worth more sold for development than it is for a place to stage football matches for a team they wouldn't lose sleep over if it failed to exist any more.

    If they want a football team then the team is for sale. When they get fed with it they sell it but it's important that they don't make a tidy profit out of running the footballing side out of existence.

    That's the way to do it. If these guys come in and improve our poor commercial/advertising ways then they won't have to put as much in out of their own pocket. Basically increase off field revenue and everyone wins because owners don't have to spend as much and Hill gets more of a budget.
