    I won't be going but I can see why people would want to go and see him. I don't see how he can be stopped from travelling around doing his show's as he has served his time and is now free to earn his living how he pleases provided its legal. Its a free country and people have the choice whether to pay and see him or not.

    Yes it is. If you want to pay money to listen to him you are condoning what he did. He is scum and no human rights stuff will make his rape acceptable.

    No it isn't. The whole world knows what he did and he quite rightly went to prison to pay for his crime however he has now served his time so rightly or wrongly he is now free to earn his living. Do you think he will be the only convicted rapist doing their job in town tonight? No of course he isn't so should they all be banned from town? I dont like what he did but from what I have read he is talking about boxing only. Like him or hate him he is a boxing legend and he will always draw crowds wherever he goes. If people dont want to put money in his pocket they have every right to stay away but equally those who want to see him have the same right to buy a ticket and go.

    I am certain your view would be different if he had raped someone you knew. The "distance" cools your opinion. All rapists are low life.

    I completely agree with you, I'm not disputing the facts about his rape nor do I approve of what he did. My point is that in this country we can't stop him from earning his living in the way he does. If there was a legal case I would have thought that he would have been stopped from entering the country.

    If you agree with me please dont try and let him make money out of Barnsley. Good argument by the way instead of the usual swearing. To be honest mate I would never be able to pay money to listen to him. I have a son and no daughter. If I had loved that daughter from her birth to growing up into a young woman and some low life like him had raped her how could I defend what he did, "the right to earn a living" goes out of the window.

    As I understand it, a person from the UK with such a conviction wouldn't be allowed to travel to the US. So why do we let the lovely person in here ?
