Funniest thing about it is He's too stupid to realise it's counting against. A couple of times this season he's had legitimate penalty claims, but he's got nowt because referees just believe he's diving. The more he dives the less likely he is going to be given decisions when he really is being fouled. But he just keeps doing it. He's an idiot.
Add to that the handball on the line against Ghana and his celebration when it was missed, and the 23 racist expletives and his defence of said expletives, and you have the absolute antipathy of vileness in a football shirt.
Re: Add to that I agree that Suarez's diving needs cutting out. I saw the first match of the day last season when the slow motion replays showed him doing the old trick of kicking his own leg and falling down and yet the 'experts' were still saying the defender was lucky not to get sent of, etc. However, I can't agree with you about the deliberate handball for a couple of reasons. Firstly, what is he supposed to do? Watch the ball go past him in the last few seconds of the match and shout "jolly good goal, sir"? It was an instant reaction that most players would have made. Had the goal gone in though we'd have all been calling Ghana a bunch of cheats instead, because the free kick that led to the handball was after a blatant dive by a Ghanaian player. I know two wrongs don't make a right, but Ghana were looking to cheat their way into the next round in the first place, so they can't complain when the boot's on the other foot, particularly when both cases of cheating led to them having goalscoring opportunities (free kick and penalty) and the opposition going down to 10 men. Ghana got away with their cheating, but Uruguay didn't get away with theirs, it was just that Ghana couldn't score the penalty or capitalise on playing against 10 men.
No. He sums up everything that is sick in the Premier League. But he's not alone. Him and Bale's antics yesterday were the final nail in the coffin of my interest in Premier League football (that had been hanging by a thread for years anyway). The game is sick - and to hear Lawrenson pass it off as requiring a sense of humour - no wonder this new generation of football fans can't see past it. Liverpool fans worship Suarez like a demi-God, but in reality he is the epitomy of the virus that is draining the life force from the game in this country. I would rather be force fed my own testicles than watch another episode of Match Of The Day 2. BFC is my only interest in professional football - and Servette.
so if barnsley, by some act of god get promoted to the premier league, you will have no interest in it?..... and you are saying that there are no cheats in the other leagues, just the premier? of course you would be interested if we went up and there are cheats in all divisions. you sir are a clown i do hope this helps
Probably not, but there are plenty on, or almost on, a par. Football's now about who can cheat best and get away with it.
Firstly... do you know it's rude to answer a question with another question? Secondly... do your friends/wife/girlfriend/kids know that you post such drivel on here? If so, how do they perceive you as a person? Personally, if one of my mates posted the dross you do, then I'd have a word. Fair enough, you supply volume in terms of posts - but most of it is frankly knackers... Why???
I agree with that, people who have no interests in the premier league but would be 1st in the queue for a season ticket if Barnsley get promoted. Same with those who have no interest in England but are clambering for Luke Steele to be called up.
Taken out of context, your post makes sense. With any form of context applied to my post which Reev replied to and you quoted, then you'll clearly see that I stated my ONLY interest is BFC. Whichever division they appear in.
I agree wi thi. I'd like Steele to get an England call based on merit. It won't happen cos he plays for us and they'd rather call up an 18 year old who spent the previous season two divisions below Steele. All because he's at a "big club".
