Works Christmas parties always end up in arguments, ive avoided mine since 2001 after sleeping with a lass from my department and smacking her husband after he accused me of doing her!! My wife cooks me a special tea now on the Works party date and gives me control of the tv remote as an extra treat.

Headingley Cricket Ground, the venues are going more and more downhill. A couple of years ago it was Harrogate International Centre & Harrogate Royal Hall the year after.

Chance to see former school geeks get smashed though.

Ours is at Harrogate Royal Hall this year.

For some absurd reason it's this Saturday and I will be at the Valley.

They can't call it a "Christmas" Party - that's why they have it so early.

Some posh hotel in Sheffield but not going as we are playing Wednesday at home that day & don't fancy going straight from match, having to get on train with all the Wendy fans and find somewhere to get changed. Night out in Barnsley after thrashing Wednesday is looking more appealing to me!
