Forgive me if I'm missing something, but have you tried a phone shop? If so, and not got anywhere, then stick a couple of AA batteries in. You'll find a couple in your parents Sky remote, or a drawer somewhere.
Wildfire Mark. Want a extra one for Saturday because coach trips are boring but my phone battery will not last the trip.
I got one of these for a festival this year, same price as a phone battery and will recharge your phone 3 or 4 times from flat if you charge it fully. Next day delivery available if you order before 3pm http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00...ile?redirect=true&ref_=oh_details_o00_s00_i00
Try these in Wakefield , http://www.phoneclinic.net/ also have a shop in Barnsley near Bus station on Kendray Street
It's brilliant mark, takes 2 hours to charge an iPhone fully so as good as a power point. Use it quite often for long journeys etc now, USB output means it can charge loads of things
