Etuhu did really well when he came on tonight IMO, not been his biggest fan so far think he has been terrible for us so far but credit to him tonight, he did really well
Etuhu did just "OK"..............but in fairness to him he has not had much match practice. When you think that we have Silva to return, along with Jim O'Brien and Cwyka...........can't really see Etuhu being more than a bit-part player/sub?
Re: Opinions ehh Bang on! Did more in last 5 than in the other 60! He has a bit of ability, decent touch and decent pace but doesn't seem to have any urgency or drive to make runs or get onto the ball
Just me then? Haha maybe its cause am used to seeing him play so ****, that was his best game so far for us IMO of course, but like a said probably cause am used to seeing him play ****
I agree, he had a five minute spell where he seemed to find a bit of energy, but otherwise I thought he looked sluggish. I'm yet to be convinced ... I'm not sure I've seen him contribute at all.
ive seen more life in tramps vest apart from a couple of runs last 5/10 mins he was dog poo. Pointless substitution if there was nowt wrong with cwyka. needs games i guess but off the pace on tonights showing.
Remember his interview on Player upon joining us. He said sumat like "Kelvin Etuhu will excite the fans, get them off their seats" Unfortunately, he looks - so far - like a less talented, far poorer version of Vaz Te. However, a run of games could see an improvement. But if not, I wouldn't be surprised to see him loaned out when O'Brien and Silva return. Or, do we stick him up front?
Blimey, I mustve been at a different game He looks completely useless, poor control, no real technical ability, not quite quick enough, classic case of good players brother eeking out a living. No way is he Championship standard.
Re: Blimey, I mustve been at a different game Maybe he doesn't realise that this is probably his last chance at a decent level or maybe he just doesnt care. Either way I would be losing patience with him (and Harewood for that matter) and letting him know that unless there is a 100% improvement over the next few weeks he will be gone.
