There can be no excuses from anyone for such a turgid display. The only player to show anything like today, in my opinion, was Marlon Harewood. He led the line without any service or support of note and took his goal exceptionally well. Studying, food and red wine beckons.
I agree kev but I'm going to try and not let it spoil my weekend, I'm going to put it down to one of those performances,it's not the first and it certainly won't be the last, we just need to put it behind us andover on to next game, beer calling!!
Agree BigLil, that's the only word for it. Defence was atrocious, although all but Harewood were below par. Defence for next game should be goldbourne - mcnulty - stones - hassell
I agree Bad today, could be terrific next Saturday at Hull. Bugger the studying, I'll just eat and drink!
With the exception of Harewood I don't think any of the starting eleven could complain if they get dropped.
Worst performance of the season IMO. Those players should be embarrassed tonight after that display and coming just one week after a superb performance against Charlton. Our home form just seems to have collapsed since Bristol City.
I thought we played well against Blackpool And in the second half against Ipswich. I didn't go to the Peterborough & Palace games. Hopefully, some of our injured players will soon become available for selection.
I'm thanking and liking that post. You're one of my favourite posters on here but at times you are way too positive for my liking I kinda like this more outspoken Kev that rarely shows himself on here
I disagree Forest out thought us but with a better forward line we would have won the game nothing for the players to be embarrassed by .
Really? Well mate, we obviously watched a different game then. Still, you're more than entitled to your opinion. I'm a huge Happy Clapper, so it's quite unusual for me to make the comments I have on my post, but I stand by them.
Poor from 1 to 11 for me today. We were out fought, out thought and out muscled by a side who really didnt have to do much for the goals we gave them. We need to get Steele back between the posts and some cutting edge up front. While we are at it...someone needs to tell Mellis that if he was half the player the thought he was he would be good. Arrogant beyond belief and a complete passenger for the majority of the games I've seen this season. Aaaaaand relax.
Re: Really? We still created plenty of chances and could have been three up early on even when we were struggling to get space when 3-1 down the chances were still there to be taken. But all about opinions like you say.
Exactly mate Just because we see things differently on this occasion, does not mean we can't still be respectful towards one another.
