If Keefy is serious about this after last Saturday then I'm afraid we have to suspect him of sabotage. Good luck to Alnwick as he continues to learn his trade, but there have to be consequences to underperforming as he did last Saturday. If the plot is to piss Steele off so he leaves in January and is therefoire off the wagebill, Keefy ought to have the cojones to say so.
if steele doesnt start saturday then there must surely be a hidden agenda here! all this about having healthy competition for the number 1 jersey well surely this is a perfect situation to illustrate that competition!
I agree, Hill could end up looking either very brave or very stupid, if Alnwick plays and turns in another Forest performance then its Hill to blaim I'm afraid.
One of my favourite films. For me, Johnny Depp's most affecting performance and the bit where Wynona Ryder dances in the snow, melts my my heart to this day. Great imagery, superb supporting cast and, as you ably demonstrate - there is a reason why Keith Hill is the manager of Barnsley Football Club and you are not.
This is the same guy that picks Wiseman in central defence, rather than Collins, Edwards (when they were here), McNulty and Hassell. I can't wait to see who out of Foster and Captain Scott gets dropped for Cranie or McNulty. Probably neither. It'll be Stones, and Wiseguy to right back - where he's even more gash. Good ol Keith.
Steele surely has to start after that performance on Saturday. I do think their could be something more to it probably to sell him in January with him being out of contract in the summer. http://www.barnsley.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=297895
funny comment by notkeithhill on twitter was he was arranging a game of table table tennis between steele and alnwick to play for the starting place and hed given alnwick a wok to play with. lol
I think Keith likes Mcnulty too so he will come back into the side in the back 4, if he doesn't drop Foster then I have a funny feeling we will either see Wiseman pushed into the defensive midfield role or Cranie played in defensive midfield. I think he will attempt to accommodate all 3 of those players one way or another.
