"He's been absolutely magnificent for us.
Apart from against Brighton and Wolves, he's done very well.."
    .
Erm, didn't Gonzalez play in those games?
And did Keith not see Ben in the Ipswich, Rochdale and Forest games?
    I'm well confused.

We all know how stubborn Keef is so don't expect him to do the right thing and give Steele a chance.

I think what he's saying is that he's played well in every game he's played in (the exceptions being the two games mentioned). I suppose publically he has to back him and try and build his confidence.

Also difficult to tell what managers are saying unless you are listening to them.

To be fair, he can't come out and say in public he's ***** and that he's gonna drop him.

I would suggest that Keith has persevered with BENNANNIKK!! to blood him in the championship and give him the experience to challenge for the No. 1 jersey. It's time for Luke to come back now though as there is quite a serious agenda to be addressed regarding his future. Luke is undoubtably the better keeper and who wouldn't play your best players? Also, I've never seen Luke dive over a ball or head butt an opposition striker. :)

Or is it Keith playing reverse psycology with the fans? I will not be surprised now to see Luke Steele in goal on Saturday.

Keith Hill has an opinion (and the only one that matters in tersm of team selection) and he thinks Alnwick is doing a good job.

My opinion (and we are entitled to one) is that Alnwick will cost us more poinst than he saves us..............poor distribution, poor on crosses, doesn't command his area/defence.

Steele is better 'keeper and I would think majorit of REDS fans think the same?

I actually think Alnwick's distribution is miles better than Steele's

Is Ben a relation. Give Steele a chance and see how he performs, We might win some back to back games.

Well, it's Keith's job on the line if he persists in playing the clearly inferior keeper.
