spot on, apart from the hemsworth part ofc, and i would suggest it would make the club even more of a attractive proposition to buyers with the option of bringing in there own manager without having to pay the old 1 off
I know it would have been a long shot to get Macca in, but I suppose I was hoping he would consider us just because of him coming from here. I know without that link there is no way we could even consider someone like Mick. I think he once said "right club, wrong time" probably just after we lost the play-off final when he was flying high in his managerial career. But now, if it does happen & KK goes, I think we will go back to tempting Russell Slade. <shudder>
if he goes he may come back in for wiseman.(shock horror) it'd be the death of this board for some posters as they'd have nowt to write about
Blackpool receive parachute payments. Keith does not like parachute payments, he says they are not fur. For him to take the job at Blackpool would be pure hypocrisy, which I don't think is in his character. He won't be going to Blackpool.
Virtually every lancashire club of any standing has been on the market for a new manager in recent weeks and personally, I think Blackpool is by far the best shout for Keith out of all of them. As a proud lancastrian, who still presumably lives over that way, I would be very surprised, given his recent moaning about the negativity at Oakwell, if he was not very tempted by the Blackpool job. I would have been very surprised if he saw Burnley as a move worth making, and would have been even more surprised if Blackburn had him in the frame, but Blackpool.....worried about that one.
He moaned about negativity did he? Was this after listening to his post Forest interview again? He can be as negative as anyone can old Keef
i like keith hill and some of his comments are hill(arious) but to say barnsley fans are too negative sticks in throat a little bit. most football fans are negative when things not going well but by and large the majority of barnsley fans aren't too bad compared to a lot of clubs especially in his dear lancashire (blackburn rovers for eg.) i don't think he can complain as much as he does about reds fans he'd have got a lot more stick elsewhere producing same resuls i'm sure
Do we really think Blackpool are interested in Hill or is it just the bookies who haven't got a clue picking a name out of the hat for the favourite? Because if Keith Hill is Blackpool's first choice, considering the fact that they have access to our record under Hill, then they must be ******* mental.
