    Agree - Romney is indeed a frightening thought. God help us all if we have a Mormon as President. (And I generally consider myself somewhat right of centre politically). It has to be Obama for me.

    Positives and negatives

    Romney
    Positives - will sort out the Iranian problem - we will be at war with Iran inside 2 years. Which is a good thing. If not, we will be at war with Iran in 5 years or so when they have nuclear missles. Which is going to be a bit more difficult.
    He will stimulate the American economy
    Negatives - wont sort the problems out surrounding establishing a Palestinian state.
    The poorer people of America will be left behind.

    Obama
    Positives - would be a better President for the poorer people of America.
    Negatives - the economy will grow but relatively slower.
    On Foreign policy he is fairly weak.

    Even before Hurricane Sandy i'd have said Obama. Now I believe the hurricane has strengthened his position even more. Romney can only stand and watch and say nice words, while Obama as the president can actually win people around with actions due to his position of power. The hurricane couldn't have come at a better time for Barack.
