Long term plan. One step back, two steps forward.

    Viva la Keef.

I didnt think it would be a piece of piss - I remembered it from the last time we were there and it took my favourite barnsley team of all time to get us out of it - a side that went on to finish 6th in the second tier the following season.

over the years I have seen many sides go down expecting to bounce back up - most "big" clubs do ...eventually.... but not that many at the first attempt and some continue the decent to the 4th division - like we very nearly did

If the strategy is to develop players:

Then surely we need to invest in a laboratory?
Create super human super red tykes who can technically give 110%.

We may end up with a few Danny De Vito's though.

Would the super red tykes ride mopeds?

The De Vito's are an understandable consequence.

    Aye. A Moped Diamond.

Headed by Adam Hinchcliffe, of course.

For every Arnie (Butterfield) you develop a De Vito (Jarman).
Or ... for every Arnie (Dirk Hartog) you get a De Vito (the reev).

    You know what I mean.
    I'm talking about toast, obviously.
