Ive heard from someone within the club that the powers that be have made funds available to Keith Hill to sign a Premiership/Experienced striker on Loan. Let's just hope he spends it on someone decent
Oooohh. Is that a specific Premiership/experienced striker, or just a vague brief of what to do with the money? I still think it's our injury record putting clubs and players off.
I think it's a kind of dont spend it on league one gash type of brief given that there's enough cash to get someone with decent championship or prem experience.
We are going to have a meeting with those interested probably in a couple of weeks time. Date to be confirmed (I'm off to a conference next week). Ponty bar is moving slowly but still shouldn't be any problems. Think there was an issue with regards who actually applies for the licence or something. Patrick has asked Don to hold fire with the Video Screen while the take over gets sorted either way as its a capital investment We will be taking pre-orders (Eaststander) for a 125 commemorative shirt in the next few days.
nice one, now the world knows we are desperate so the prices will bump up.What a great idea to announce it on here.Good call
Missed the boat with the 125 shirt haven't they. Wait till winter when fans are pissed off with the club and then release a new shirt instead of doing it in the summer when people wear tshirts and people were optimistic and feeling the 125 thing. I can't believe that a multi million pound company didn't know who applies for a licence for a bar when they've already got some in the ground. **** me sideways. surely to fecking christ its the same person who had to apply for a licence for a new bar in preedys.
Re: nice one, now the world knows we are desperate Keiths been saying in interviews they have tried to get a striker in....its hardly news
Re: nice one, now the world knows we are desperate isnt mido been fit for two weeks?? is there a conflict between hill and mido?
Re: nice one, now the world knows we are desperate The conflict is between Mido and his legs, he can't stop them walking to the fish shop.
Mad ark said yesterday he'd heard we were after Tom Pope. Wonder if the so called board said no, to anymore lower league *****
Yes people like yourself Bryn !! It seems quite a popular game to play, belittle either the town, its population or more recently the fans of the club who use the BBS.
I am sure that if Hill is allowed to bring in a striker he would not want a lower league striker from Aldi, when he can afford to shop at Waitrose for a while!
