Would you pay to go to Oakwell when the manager is constantly saying that the club has no money, is lucky to be in this league, can't compete with the rest of the league, isn't good enough and will be fortunate not to be relegated? Because if I didn't have a season ticket I know I wouldnt.

I wonder how much money keith hills attitude is costing the club every week

That's your loss then. Football is a merry go round, ups and downs is what makes football. Come what league were in I'd be there. I'd dare say that at this curret moment Keith hill is the most worried man at the club, yes I am slightly concerned about our little demise but I'm sure we'll get it turned around.

Only felt like this about the club twice before. Allan Clarkes 2nd spell and under Simon Davey.

He might be right and what he is saying is true but it does not help anyone for him to bang on about it every day.

Lets just for one second imagine that you've got a small ****. Would it help you if your wife complained about it every time you had sex?

Why do you analyse the managers after match comments in the minutest detail looking for anything he may have said which could be construed as derogatory to either the fans, the players or the club, and then restate the statement on here. Why do you not realise that our manager is desperate for success, and that after a defeat, he is quite naturally depressed and despondent and also quite possibly angry too. This board exists so that supporters with the same feelings can vent their frustrations by making often derogatory remarks, which they may regret when they calm down. Our manager does not have that luxury. Instead, he must face the press when he is at his most vulnerable. Inside, the man is just like the rest of us. Why not give him a break. Why not treat him with the same respect that you yourself would expect. Once again, what do you expect to gain from your relentless pursuit of Keith Hill.

    What do you mean imagine?

And to be fair I could cope with her complaining about it once a year.

So you call yourself a fan but refuse to go to watch the team you claim to be a fan of?

Not just Keith, who I really don't like, everything from the board, to the pricing structure and taking fans for granted

Out of interest if we where top 6 with millions in the bank and Hill was still manager would you still refuse to go and would you like Hill then or are you just going through a strop?

That question also applies to anyone else that refuses to go or dislikes the manager

Can't answer, I'm not casual, I'm passionate. As such I go to every game.

I didn't like Keith Hill's interviews for the first few months of last season. I genuinely thought he was deliberately bringing down the town, the club and the fans. I didn't like it. Since then I think he's changed tact and his interviews, in my opinion, have been much better. Last couple of weeks he's sounded under pressure, and maybe he's lashed out a bit, but he is under pressure so it's not surprising. He does a better job in front of a mic than I would.

He's a bit wacky is our Keith. Sometimes he's funny, sometimes he's cryptic, sometimes he's deliberately obtuse, sometimes he's unintentionally obtuse, sometimes he sounds like a complete nut job, but I don't think he could ever say anything that would stop me going.

Anyway, I think Keith's personality and his interview style is beneficial to the club not detrimental. Keith Hill is popular. Take a look at any of the myriad of polls on here and that is obvious. It's obvious from the way fans react towards him at the ground. I'll tell you one thing though, he's not popular because of his record since he got here. He's popular despite it. He's popular because people like him, and people like him because of what he says in interviews. If the team were actually doing well he would, as the old saying goes, be more popular than Jesus. So I don't think he's having any negative effect on our attendances. I'd argue he's probably having a positive one.

I always thought the pre-season optimism and the buzz of the first game hoping that some how we had signed a team of super stars was every fans dream?

How many adverts tell you their product is ok but there are 23 products that are better?
