    Bobby Hassell showed why he's such a popular player and person. At times he was extremely funny, on other occasions very thoughtful & insightful. Special mention to Matt Murray who was an excellent compère, well done tonight mate. Barnsley66 was great company, as usual. I enjoyed seeing doddy again for the first time in ages and Bruce Dyer was certainly on form. Does Brucie ever stop laughing?

    Bobby really likes it, but he found it difficult to explain to his son. He got round it by explaining the fans were being complimentary to his Mum. Unfortunately, his mates at school told him the truth!:D

    He simply said he felt he was worthy of a place in the starting line up. But he didn't say anything derogatory against Keith Hill, Dave Flitcroft or any player.

    He also said

    Keith Hill & David Flitcroft couldn't understand what the fans were singing at first. When Bobby told them, they thought it was funny & brilliant. They probably couldn't understand the dialect of a few thousand madmark talk-a-likes!:D
