we're crying out for one when was last time we put a through ball from middle of park into strikers feet you can count on one hand the amount of shots we had on target we're full of players that can only pass sideways and back we're far too slow getting ball forward
we've done it once and scored from it then, our defence is under a lot of pressure because the opponents midfield know they can push forward and there not leaving any danger behind them as soon as we win the ball back its going wide and there full backs deal with it
Errrm.... Who is going to pay his wages? And why would anyone send a recovering playing play to the injury black spot of the football league?
You asked when was the "last time" and you got an answer. You now want us to do some more leg work in order to prove your own premise?
no you said he's very effective, once a season don't seem very effective to me, as for Mr c, what have the club made available for loan players a bag of wine gums and a free pie ?,
Mellis has the highest number of assist in the division. We establishe dteh otehr day on here that he has been responsible for 2/3 of our goals.... Our issue is that we don't move teh ball quickly enough to the lickes of Mellis and instead we have centre halves seeing too much of the ball at their feet.
Sorry, but you went from "when was the last time" to "once in three matches" to "once a season". Have you any evidence to suggest that Mellis has got only got one assist this season?
I don't think it will be the 100k + it would require to keep Jacob in hair gel until January, old flower! Plus that money has been earmarked for a striker according to Gally's post yesterday. And Jacob Mellis tops the assist chart in the Championship, despite our modest goal haul.
not sure without checking when i get home but i think it was him who miss hit the corner for foster to score, can't remember his other think it came from the wing again at wolves but not sure without checking, so like i say one all season if im right,
I'll check for you Jacob Mellis has seven assists, most in the championship. http://www.football-league.co.uk/page/DivisionalAssists/0,,10794~20127,00.html
