KGB deals,Living Social and Groupon

i know these companys arent that big in the uk yet, but does anybody subscribe and use them.

I have just bought my DC United play off final tickets through living social.

got 2 tickets (me and wife) for $58 the actuall value of each ticket is $60.Its a great saving and we get a free tote bag too.

maybe its something Barnsley FC should think about doing untapped market,discounted tickets.

do you think this could work in the UK

 

Groupon is massive in the UK. get a few too many e-mails from them but there are some good deals to be had.

 

groupon hasnt expanded in the uk just the main cities.

here we have regional groupons designed for the county you live in.

just thought its a market the reds could explore

do you think it would be a good idea to see what they have to offer.

 

Huddersfield had a game on Groupon a few weeks ago. Not sure of the impact.

 

i just checked i notice st helens rugby league side do too.

Blades were on one of these for the Pompey game, mate at work got 2 adults 2 kids for £28, first game he's been to this season(said it were sheite though!)

 

the point though is he bought it because of the deal. watching blades is always *****.
