No need to shout. You've lost me as to why that has anything to do with you being careful ? And the club has been separated from his control and has been running without his additional support since last summer. Therefore there is nothing to seize. I'm sure people will have made sure this does not happen in the background And also the other three who were accused with Cryne have been found not guilty haven't they? None of the above excludes us from having ambition either does it?
This is sub judice, so things like message boards, facebook, etc should not comment on guilt of parties, otherwise you can be done. That is what I meant. You shouted EXPECTATION & AMBITION... maybe you have a short memory
Please explain how you reach that conclusion? As far as I can see it you brought it up I know why we have changed financial tack but that does not mean we should not aim higher than we do at present.
My young lad has lost interest yet again this season he won't be going tomorrow and I think you have just summed up why!
the expectation was there in the 70's don't forget the stick jim illey got for not getting us promotion without a pot to p155 in and a begged stole and borrowed team.
Do you honestly think the powers that be at the club gathered around a table and collectively developed this negative PR and marketing campaign in an attempt to lower expectations as part of some masterplan? I don't for one minute. I just think that the club is less than woeful in the marketing and PR department and coincidentally we have a manager who is in the wrong place at the wrong time for his approach to the media to work. Plus an owner who is ill and under the legal 0microscope so can no longer inject cash in to the club. Add in to that a recession which means fans are struggling to attend despite the on-field performances and a Championship (inluding English football in general) that is rotten to the core from a financial ethics perspective means that we are falling way behind at this level. Make no mistake that the likes of Huddersfield and Leicester would not be prospering in the way that they are currently were it not for the injection of cash from their owners/investors. It's a big old melting pot of ***** that has simply come to the boil at the same time. There's nothing more sinister or underhand to it than that.
And it can't be easy for the club when there are umpteen vocal people on here who can't wait to complain and can see the negative in everything. All we can really hope for is that the club keeps going and whoever gets picked to be on the pitch and in the dugout is seen to be giving their all for the cause. If we lose, we lose, but lets not go down without a fight. Similarly, we on the terraces need to do our bit. On the whole, barring one or two games, the players have performed well in the games i've seen and the crowd has been a lot more positive too (the crowd at Oakwell that is, and not necessarily the crowd on here!). I did miss the Forest game though...
What blind bit of difference does a few folk moaning on here actually make? Jesus Christ. What's holding the club back is the ***** being served up on the pitch.
